The 123\DS-R is suitable for 4 cylinder Traction Avant cars, all H Vans, DS19 from July 1959 until September 1965 and all ID models until September 1966. It contains 16 advance-curves which you can select from to suit your particular application. 

Please note that this unit is not suitable for replacing a Lucas distributor on Slough built Traction Avant models due to the mounting bracket being different.

Two curves are dedicated to the Traction-Avant engines, the 'Perfo' and the '11D'.

For the 'H'-van there are two advance-curves too. One of these has a so-called 'rev-limiter', to prevent unwanted engine-damage.
It comes with a booklet containing the fitting instructions and a list of the advance curves and engines so you can find the correct one. To view the instruction booklet, see below.

The internal electronics provide the RIGHT advance, the RIGHT vacuum-advance and the RIGHT dwell-angle to provide optimum spark energy and peak performance
