This is the horizontal rubber seal that attaches to the rear door and seals against the window glass to minimise water ingress to the door.

This version has a steel spine inside the rubber and the rubber has a furry coating where the glass rubs on it. It does not have the holes for mounting with the earlier (pre June 1971) clips. If you wish to use that type of clip, you must make your own holes in the sealing strip. The later clips can easily be fittted to earlier doors to avoid drilling holes in the seal strip though.
