This is a rebuilt height corrector valve for the front or rear suspension of a Citroen DS, ID or SM and includes 3 new tube seals.

These are often worn and are one of the main reasons the suspension sinks prematurely after engine switch off.

Our height correctors are rebuilt in the following way:

The height corrector is dismantled and cleaned. The bore is honed out to remove all imperfections and an oversize piston is made to suit. This brings the wearing part of the height corrector back to "as new" specification. The unit is cleaned again and reassembled using re-plated steel parts and new original quality diaphragms. It is then pressure tested and is ready for use.

The end result is a height corrector that looks and performs just like a new one.

We recommend that the hydraulic fluid is changed at the same time as the height corrector is replaced.

As this is a rebuilt part, we need your old height corrector back so it too can be rebuilt for the next person. Because of this, the price includes a £80.00 surcharge which will be refunded when we get your old height corrector back.
