SHIPPING: We are currently experiencing long delays to some destinations due to shortage of flights and lack of capacity at destination hub. Italy, Poland, Netherlands and France are particularly affected but all destinations are experiencing delays. We will send your order in good time with correct paperwork, but once your package leaves us, it is out of our hands and there is nothing we can do to influence the time it takes to get to you. To place a parts order, please do so via our web shop if possible, or via email. Due to a reduction in staff levels and an increase in orders we may not be able to answer the phone at all times and most orders will take longer to be processed and sent than normal. In order to minimise risk to our staff, we will only be visiting the post office once a week, on Thursday afternoons.
You create your registration and log in details as part of the checkout process when you place your first order. Please note that if you use Paypal Express checkout, your details and loyalty points may not be saved and the order comes through with the delivery address you have set up in Paypal. Please make sure this is correct! We recommend that you click the "Checkout Securely" button the first time you buy from us so you can set up your account as part of the checkout process. You can still use Paypal with this method as it is an option there too.
Checkout with Paypal: (Paypal Express checkout) This bypasses our checkout and it works like this: After you click the "Checkout with Paypal" button, you log into your paypal account. At this stage only the cost of the parts will be shown on the Paypal login screen. Our system then sees the delivery address you have on your paypal account and lets you select delivery options for that address. Then you click again to pay the total amount including the delivery charge. Please make sure that the delivery address on your Paypal account is correct as this is what comes through to us on your order and where we'll be sending the package to.
Checkout Securely: By clicking this method, you will be led through our simple checkout procedure and can choose from a number of payment methods, including Paypal.
We will dispatch stocked items within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) unless you choose Express Delivery at checkout. Stocked items for Express Delivery receive priority processing and will be dispatched the same working day we receive the order, provided the order is received before 11am, and will usually be delivered the next working day. Express Delivery orders received after 11am will be processed the following working day. We process and dispatch all other orders in the order that we receive them (subject to stock availability). If any of your ordered items are not in stock, we will advise you as soon as possible the date we expect them back in stock.
The maximum package weight for overseas shipment by standard post is 2kg. Size restrictions also apply to standard post so anything overweight or oversize will need to be sent by courier. Our webshop calculates the carriage cost purely using the item weight, however overseas freight couriers charge by volumetric weight which is calculated with a formula based on the package size. Our website therefore cannot accurately calculate this. For this reason most deliveries for destinations outside Europe will need to be packaged by us first so we can calculate the delivery charge. We will assemble your order, weigh and measure it, then quote you for delivery, before directing you the the appropriate payment page. We apologise for this slight inconvenience, but feel that it is the best way to prevent you being overcharged for delivery.
We currently use Parcelforce and TNT for most shipments within the UK and abroad.
If your package is unable to be delivered, except due to a mistake on our part, then the customer is liable for all additional costs including; return postage, storage fees and redelivery costs where they may apply.
When you check out, the website will only show you delivery options that are relevant to your package weight and delivery country.
Some countries outside Europe will also be able to pay for delivery at checkout if the package weight is under 2kg. If it is under 2kg but outside the allowable dimensions, we will contact you prior to sending.
The maximum length we can send on standard UK courier delivery is 1.5 metres, but longer items can be sent on a different service. For this reason the website may not calculate the correct delivery price for bulky / oversize items and where this occurs, we will contact you with the correct delivery cost for your agreement and payment prior to proceeding.
